ABOUT CLAY CLUB

Founded by local ceramic artists Diana Welch and Katie Fox, the Monofonus Clay Club is located in the Govalle neighborhood of East Austin. We provide affordable, self-guided access to a ceramic practice with a laid-back, DIY approach. It is our mission to remove barriers that may be preventing people from working with clay, no matter their skill level. We try to address this by keeping our membership fees accessible and offering casual mentorship to members who request it — but the true purpose of Clay Club is to simply have the space to figure it out for yourself.
